The grapes are carefully harvested by hand. The grapes are pressed and then rests for 24 hours. Then the grapes are removed and filled into oak barrels. The wine ferments in temperature-controlled until its complete fermentation. The wine matures on the yeast in 1-4 year old oak barrels for 12 months and then for another 3 months in steel barrels to prepare the wine for bottling.\u003cbr\u003eThis Matrot Meursault-Blagny 1er has a lively, fresh bouquet with citrus notes of yellow plums and ripe fruit. The flavors are characteristic of the clay lime floors and limestone rocks. It is well defined on the palate, with good weight and notes of grated almond, a touch of ginger and some vanilla and brioche in the finish. The 2022 vintage is fascinating. Simply a great pleasure. Unfortunately, very few quantities available.
