Domaine Matrot

(Only available for our customers in the Principality of Liechtenstein) The origins of the winery dated back to the middle of the 19th century. At that time, both the Amoignon and Matrot families separately from each other were active in the wine trade and wine cultivation business. In 1904, Joseph Matrot and Marguerite Amoignon married and formed the basis for the domain. Today Thierry and Pascale Matrot lead the winery together with their two daughters Adèle and Elsa. The Domaine Matrot produces a wide range of Burgundy wines from the Cote de Beaune, both white and red wines, from village to their fantastic premier cru wines. Every wine is filled on the domaine and nothing is sold to trading houses. The demand for their products is far too big. Thierry and his wife Adèle receive high professional reinforcements from their daughters Elsa and Adèle. Elsa has a university degree in oenology and Adèle has a master's degree in wine trade and is also an oenologist. The aim of the young generation is to maintain the family business and to further develop at very high levels.

Matrot is one of the rising stars in the Bourgogne because the great quality consistency is not only recognized by us. We only have a small allocation, of which an important part - excusez nous - ends up in our own cellar! But we would be happy to share the rest with you. We can, however, only sell these beautiful wines to our customers in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
